Apexi Auto Timer für Sauger-/Turbomotoren. Turbo Timer sind dafür konstruiert, die Motordrehzahl auch nach entfernen des Zündschlüssels für eine bestimmte Zeitperiode im Leerlauf zu halten. Der Zweck diesbezüglich ist, dass Oel weiterhin durch den Turbo fliesst und somit seine Kühlfunktion wahrnehmen kann. Dies ist besonders nach einer harter Fahrt, in denen die Turbinen mit mehr als 200'000 U/min drehen und Temperaturen von über 900° Celsius entstehen, absolut notwendig. Wird der Motor unmittlebar nach einer harten Fahrt ausgeschaltet, dreht sich das Turbinenrad noch mit viel zu hohen Drehzahlen ohne dabei mit Oel versorgt zu werden. Gleichzeitig können durch Verkoken die Oelleitungen verstopfen, was dann definitiv zum Turboschaden führen wird. APEXi bietet den weltweit ersten Turbo Timer mit O2 Sensor-Anschluss und daraus abgeleiteter, automatischer Zeitberechnung. Dieses Gerät erlaubt Einstellungen der Nachlaufzeit von 0-10 Minuten und zeigt zusätzlich LEAN/RICH (mager/fett) und geschätzte A/F Werte über LEDs an. While there are many boost controllers on the market, none of the other includes as many features as the AVC-R, period. Entry level users need only to input a desired boost level and the AVC-R's trademark self learning CPU processor does the rest.The AVC-R also uses a highly durable, fast action solenoid valve to physically control the boost . The valve movement (Boost Duty Cycle) can also be modified. Raising the duty cycle increases boost response, while lowering the duty cycle will slow boost response. This feature allows boost response adjustment for varying turbo sizes.
